Daniel Spirn
Founder
Daniel comes to Surf TV with over 10 years software
development experience. Prior to teaming up with the other members of
Surf TV, He was the Manager of Software Intergation at GTE Interactive
and Sr. Software Engineer at Gray Matter Studios. In the past few years,
Daniel has been a freelance software developer creating Internet applications
and web based multimedia for companies such as Microsoft, Oracle, Levis,
Razorfish, HaperCollins, Sony, Ziff-Davis, & Universal Pictures. Daniel
is experienced in developing games, tools and applications for CD-I,
3DO, SEGA, Nintendo, Coin-OP system, Interactive Television and PC/MAC
CD-ROM. Daniel holds a BA in Cognitive Science from University of California,
San Diego. His educational focus was in cognitive engineering and computer
science. At UCSD, he conducted user interface research for Apple Computer
and General Instruments. In his spare time Dan co-captained the UCSD
Surf Team, the winners of 1993 National Championship.
